How Can You Find the Data File in Sage 50

What is the location of the.INI file in Sage 50?

Method I: Using an INI Extension file

• Press and hold WINDOWS KEY+E.
• Examine the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Peach (C:\Program Files\Common Files:Peach on a 32-bit system).
• Run the setup file for your Sage 50 version:

• To find the data path, go to the bottom and look for a name that starts with DATAPATH=.
• To find the programme path, scroll down to the bottom of the sixth or seventh paragraph and look for the first line with PROGRAMPATH=.

Method II: Sage and its Icon Properties

To find the data path, do the following:

• Launch the Sage 50 program
• Select the appropriate file and then click Open Company.

Make sure you don’t select the Open Previous Company option.

• To make the entire directory visible, move to the box’s corner.
• The data path is the directory deduced from the company name’s truncated spelling.

To find the Program path, do the following:

• Click the Sage shortcut icon on the right side.
• Select Properties.
• Exe is the programme path if taken from the blue marked path on the Target line.
